- Greetings -

Since our establishment in 1972, SHIMADZU TECHNO-RESEARCH has actively developed a contract analysis business based on our extensive analytical technology. Our work now ranges from investigative research for national ministries, regional governmental bodies, and public research institutions, to work for commercial enterprises, such as environmental analysis and surveys, materials analysis, and pharmaceutical testing. In particular, we are committed to solving environmental problems and have become a leader in the field of environmental analysis by partnering with relevant institutions to embrace the challenge of developing new analytical methods for ultra-trace analysis of environmental pollutants, such as dioxins and persistent organic pollutants (POPs).

In more recent years, we have also focused efforts not only on environmental analysis, but also in other areas, such as new pharmaceutical and food analysis to meet the growing needs of society for health and food safety, green procurement–related fields to accommodate industrial globalization or to meet increasingly higher R&D requirements, and more sophisticated materials analysis. In particular, in 2006 we established a subsidiary in Guangzhou, China (Shimadzu (Guangzhou) Analytic & Technology Service Co., Ltd.), to meet the needs of Japanese transplant companies being deployed overseas. With a support organization based on a partnership between Japan and China, the subsidiary helps Japanese industry establish global quality control systems.

To meet the needs of this era, SHIMADZU TECHNO-RESEARCH is committed to ensuring improved control of precision and to providing reliable data that can be trusted. We are also committed to continuously improving our technical expertise and data analysis expertise so that we can provide the best possible solutions for new technical problems that emerge as market environments change in response to the global spread of green innovations and lifestyle innovations.
SHIMADZU TECHNO-RESEARCH remains committed to being a trusted partner.
